AH223 is bundled with ACE software that provides file compression, decompression and password protection. ACE implements an advanced compression management system that shrinks commonly used files up to 5 times compared to the original file size. ACE effectively compresses documents, pictures, presentations, and audio files, giving users the chance to save more files on AH223 USB 2.0 flash drives. ACE also provides password-level security to prevent personal or critical data breaches. The file security, implemented via a password prompt, is activated when the Handy Steno flash drive is plugged in.
With no complicated user interface blocking the way, ACE promotes convenient and quick drag-and-drop operation by automatically compressing and then saving files to the flash drive. Because ACE is built-in, users do not need to install the application on the PC, which is great for portability. In addition, the entire ACE installation package occupies only less than 1MB of flash drive space.
*The actual available memory on the device is less than what is listed on the package. This is due to small discrepancies in file formats and algorithms used by various operating systems. In addition, a portion of memory space is reserved for system files and data sectors for better performance.
