BIO PLANÈTE Olive Oil »Nouvelle Récolte« Extra Virgin 2018 is the first olive oil from this year’s harvest – unfiltered and single varietal. Experts love this seasonal oil, especially for its crisp note of freshly cut grass.

For this rarity, the remarkably aromatic olives of the Arbequina variety are carefully harvested by hand while they are still green. On the same day, they are gently pressed, before bottling the oil without filtration. Since 10 years, we place our confidence in the experience of Spanish family-owned business »El vicario« in the foothills of the Sierra de Los Filabres in Southern Andalusia. High-quality oils are manufactured in the fourth generation of this old-established business.

With its fruity, grassy-green aromatic qualities, the oil blends in perfectly with salads, vegetables, fried meat, grilled fish, as well as cheeses from goat’s or sheep’s milk.

This precious and limited olive oil edition, delivered in a decorative white bottle, is available each year in early December for a short period of time only in whole food stores.
