New 2-way paper feeding for different media

TS8070 equipped with a rear paper feeding tray that offers capacity of 100 sheets of A4 plain paper. The tray also supports a wide range of paper type and size such as envelope and the new Square and Card sizes. In addition, TS8070 feature a front paper feeding tray for plain paper. With both trays, different types of paper can be accommodated, allowing quick printing without the need to replace the papers.

PIXMA Touch & Print for direct printing of photo and document from mobile device by NFC without network settings

PIXMA TS8070 feature the PIXMA Touch & Print* function with NFC capability, which means users don’t have to manage complex network settings. Users can open documents or images from a mobile device through the PIXMA Printing Solutions application and then just touch their printer’s NFC zone with the device, transferring data for direct printing.

AirPrint & Canon Print Service for direct printing of web pages or documents through iOS & AndroidTM devices

PIXMA TS8070 photo printer has pre-set many popular cloud applications* for easy and direct access to a variety of online contents. Without the need of a computer nor mobile device, users can print directly from the printer of online contents including: albums from social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter; photos from free web albums such as Picasa, Flickr and CANON iMAGE GATEWAY; images, PDF files and documents from storage sites such as Dropbox and Evernote; and templates from Canon Creative Park. This opens up a new printing era which is more convenient and enjoyable.

6-color individual ink tank system with gray ink for B&W photos and enhanced color gradation

To further enhance photo printing quality, PIXMA TS8070 adopts a 6-color individual ink system with the addition of gray ink tank to improve the gray tone in B&W photo printing, clearly present the shaded and glossy area and further improve the gradation and amend color distortion. This can also greatly enhance color reproduction for color photo printing.

Auto duplex print and disc direct print
