Canon Xeed WX520 LCOS Projector is compactly designed and produces bright and excellently visible images. The projector has lens shift features and is compatible with WXGA+ installation that makes it easy to install and use. In addition, the projector is also energy efficient.
Design and Dimensions:
The cannon projector has been designed with 1.8x zoom lens that can be shifted vertically or horizontally for picture-by-picture as well as edge blending. It is also designed specifically for PC less presentation. The projector comes in the size of 0.70 inches diagonal with 3 panels. Its aspect ratio is 16:10. Lamp type is 250W NSHA. Lens number and focal length are F2.8, f=21.5-39.0mm. Standard brightness of the lamp is 5200 lumens and 4000 lumens in eco mode. The lens can be manually zoomed to 1.8x it can be shifted +/-10% horizontally and 0%-62% vertically. It has two rotary feet and it can be elevated by 6 inches. Dimensions of the projector in terms of width, height, and depth are 337x134x370mm and its weight is 5.9 kg.
Display Features:
This projector comes with brilliant and high level display of 5200 lumens and the display remains constant throughout the zoom ranges. The native resolution is WXGA+ and the contrast ratio is 2000:1. Images displayed are consistently bright as well as vibrant irrespective of the throw distance. Inclusion of f2.8 apparatus helps brightness remain consistent throughout the display. Inclusion of the new imaging processor helps edge blending as well as registration adjustments. This is perfect for multi-display environment. Motion blur imaging features and 4 point keystone correction features enable the projector to project images from any angle. The combination of native WXGA+ resolution of 1440x900 pixels and LCOs display helps produce outstanding smooth as well as detailed images. Projection distance coverage is in the range of 1.2m-16.6m and screen size is 86x54cm – 646x404 cm. The throw ratio is 1.43-2.57:1. Digital zoom magnification capability is 1x to 12x.
Connectivity:
For connectivity it has DVI-I 29 pin ports, HDMI port, Mini D-Sub 15 pin ports, two 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks, USB type A port, and service port for projector control. It also has RO-45 10/100/1000 BASE T networking ports. It is enabled by network multi-projection (NMPJ) features and can be remotely controlled and monitored with the Creston Room View features.
Noise Levels:
Noise level of the projector in normal mode is 38 decibels and in eco mode is 32 decibels.
Other Features:
A couple of innovative features of the projector are easy lamp and filter access and excellent energy efficiency. It is also extremely energy efficient as the dedicated power saving button helps reduce power consumption considerably. Range of digital and analogue scans are 480-1080 pixels. It has two 5.0w RMS Monaural speakers for audio. It consumes 335 watts and 285 watts of power in normal and eco modes respectively. Operating and storage temperatures are 0-400C and -10-600C respectively.
